i've been so busy lately with school. i am in the process of getting my thesis approved by the institutional review board for human subjects. sounds like scary stuff! but i just had to fill out a long application about my thesis. now i am just waiting to hear back : )
i've been trying to get back into crocheting! i made this granny square while i was listening to the sermon at church last saturday. i used some yarn i got in england in january!
i found this little plastic blue bird on the pavement yesterday. i thought it was cute, like a little surprise! i am thinking of passing this on to someone : )
miguel & i have been going on our little adventures : ) we found a breakfast place that serves mole huevos (rancheros) & an amazing french toast that tastes like custard. it's so good.
i love going grocery shopping with him! it's seriously so fun.
my housemate, lydia made some amazing pineapple upside-down cake this week. it was quite tasty.
& it is my papi's birthday today! i went shopping yesterday for his gift. he loves lavender scented things, so i bought him a few lavender items from
l'occitane. last time i went shopping there was in paris when i bought my sister some eyeshadow!
