i attended the renegade craft fair in the city this weekend with abbie! i love going to these craft fairs : )
the city was so beautiful
rachel & abbie came to visit & see my apartment. we had coffee & dessert at the old spaghetti factory & i took them to see the best christmas lights in the city. they even had an a christmas story scene (by the way, best christmas movie ever!)!
(sorry so blurry!)
so, i finished my last paper & turned it in last week. after that, life has been a little bit of a world wind! parties, dates, visits from friends, & good food - all with a festive flair : )
i think this post has too many photos of myself...maybe i should take some down... :/

thrifting, foxes, ira & abby
can you believe i'm blogging three days in a row?! i'm on a roll. i think it's because i have actually been having some free time lately. homework hasn't been too bad. since i didn't have to stay up late working on homework, i watched a cute movie last night called ira & abby. it's really a quite funny & scandalous movie. & the main couple is adorable. i rather enjoyed it : )
i've been having time to browse the internet recently too! i have come across this neat site that has free sewing patterns. while looking on the site, i found this adorable halloween costume that a girl put together: fantastic mr. & mrs. fox.
now, i haven't really done any outfit posts before, i think because i'm a bit shy about it :] but i wanted to share what i found thrifting today (because i got my homework done early!!). there is a thrift store just down the block on the corner from where i live, which is awesome! i found this top for $0.60 (!!) & a nice nylon bag for $1.40. what kind of bag to you call it? i know there is a name for it...lastly i want to share this collaboration song that i discovered on g's blog. anyways, i love it & i hope you do to! i'm heading home for the weekend after class tonight. hope your weekend is good!
replies:
dandelionkisses: i try : )
inside the cabinet of wonder: it was so cute! i have actually made something similar to the little brown paper bag before. i used brown paper & folded it around the end of a small pack of gum & then took it off. so cute! THANKS for the package again!
natalie: haha, what can i say, i like food! :))
megan: hello! you should really try this dough, it's yum! & worth it.

dream art
i attended an art museum grand opening a few weeks ago. a lot of the art was breathtaking & beautiful. & some of the frames were art just in themselves.
it's been raining all morning & i LOVE it. it makes me so happy : ) i just feel like curling up in bed & watching a movie now...
replies:
dandelionkisses: hehe, i know right?? i always wanted one of those fish too, but my mom never liked them because they are called fortune telling fish lol.
linda: isn't the fish awesome? it's so fun.
amy: oh she does! i was shocked with how much she sent! i was only expecting a candle :))
inside the cabinet of wonder: wooo hooo for the workshop! you know, you could totally do something like it where you are!! hint hint : )
natalie: she really is!! aha! ohhh you are totally welcome to join, hehe.
hiven: hello! & thank you : )
maria: oh yes! umm i'm not too sure about six year olds, but i know popsicle/craft sticks are super fun! you can make houses, boxes, photo frames, basically anything with them & then paint what you make.
pauline: i love that i'm teaching a class too : ) you are so sweet!
mieke willems: thank you! i'm glad you enjoy the music : ) i'm excited because that is the first one of those fishes i've ever had.
carissa clark: oh wow!! that is so awesome about glee!!! & no worries about being busy, believe me i know how it is. sometimes i open my blog up just to have music playing while i work on homework or something : )
shelbyisms.: THANK YOU!! : )
one of us: hello hannah! i'm so glad you are enjoying my blog : ) thanks! blogger packages are seriously THE best.

life

i'm having trouble, for some reason, uploading photos tonight. so these are from a post i created a few weeks ago.
so, tonight when i came home from class, i put the tv on to get ready to watch greys anatomy (love that show) while i made my dinner. the show my generation was ending & all of a sudden i heard mumford & sons. i got totally excited to hear them on tv. then, at the end of greys anatomy they were playing mumford & sons again! i was so surprised. & happy.
this morning i was talking to my mom on the phone & she told me, "oh, you can see two guys at the same time, you know. it's ok." & if you knew my mom, your mouth would drop like mine did when i heard her say that. i was shocked & laughing for a while after that.
one last thing, this is what i was trying to upload to show you. i'll probably still upload it later, but it is the holstee manifesto. i saw it on hearblack & printed it out right away. it's now on my wall, just above my mumford & sons post-its.
replies:
dandelionkisses: oh, did you finish the book?? she does make paper, doesn't she? oh & readymade is doing a year subscription for only $6.99 so now is the perfect time to subscribe : )
natalie: you are sweet : ) & i love teaching my arts & crafts class!

so, please leave song suggestions in the comments! thanks loves : )

saturday afternoon

the other one i watched was gigantic. it was kind of weird at parts. but i like the idea of paul dano's character wanting to adopt a baby. & plus zooey's in it so.... : )
i've been excited for all of my tv shows to start up again! can't wait.
i found a new favorite song! found out about it from wendy.
oh! one more thing - dawn of handmadelove is in need of any old pillows you don't have a need for anymore. check it out here.
