roller skates

i just came back from visiting my sister at her university! i was glad to see her & it was neat to see where she now lives. one night, her & her friends took me rollerskating. i hadn't been rollerskating since i was really little & it was a tad scary at times! but i had a lot of fun : )
the day after we went to the roller rink, we saw whip it! (i really like alia shawkat who played pash) i loved it! it was a perfect movie to watch right after roller skating : )

p.s. the puppies are getting bigger!

puppy glee

jubilee had her puppies yesterday morning! four silky white babies : ) three boys & one girl. they are so adorable!

today was full of studying & doing my homework for tomorrow & later on in the week. i'm trying to get most of it done because i am taking an early thursday morning flight with my sister's boyfriend to go visit her at the university for four days. it will be his first plane ride! hehe : )

i don't know if you've heard of it or even watched it before, but i am loving the new show glee! it's so funny & always has great musical performances on it. & i think the guidance counselor "celebrity judge" looks like a blythe doll : ) anyways, last episode had two great performances & i thought i'd share them with you. in this episode the guys & girls in the school's glee club have a mash-up competition where they combined two songs into one. also, they all cheated a bit by taking "energy boosters." that's why they are really hyper :o) enjoy!

friendship bread & puppies

my mom is baking more amish friendship bread right now & it smells so good! i can't wait for it to be finished.

guess what! jubilee will be having puppies soon : ) look at her belly!

it's been getting really cold at night & i keep having to bring extra blankets onto my bed because my loft gets really drafty!

thrifting date

my mom & i had a thrifting date yesterday. this is what i bought! three little fawns for my new collection i am starting ($1.78 for all three), two books nickle and dimed and the picture of dorian gray ($0.75 each), & a bag of plastic dinosaurs for an art project ($1.80). i'm happy with what i got, but i want to go thrifting again soon because i never made it to the clothes section! they closed too soon.
