new shoes & paper

my mom found some old shoes she used to where in the 80s & gave them to me. i think they are quite cute!
i visited an art store that sells some supplies for handmade books. it was on my regular bus route to school so i took an earlier bus to stop by before school. i didn't buy any book making supplies, but i did buy some beautiful paper! those leaves are shimmering silver & gold, even though it doesn't look like it from the photo : ) i've been using my time on the train when i go to school for writing in my moleskine. it's almost all filled up! i'll have to start my third one soon : )

i'm so glad my internet is working now. i can finally get caught up on all your lovely blogs!

thank you for all of the well wishes! i'm happy i'm feeling much better & practically 100% (minus a few coughs & sneezes!).

i hope everyone has a great week : )

  2. Glad you're feeling well! :)

Love those shoes. My mom also likes to gift me with her old shoes since we tend to be about the same size. It's a wonderful thing!

  5. I love your new(?) shoes!
I really really love those kind, sort of like loafers with shoe laces? I think the ones with heels are called Oxford?

    Moleskin?
Does it really have the skin of a mole? eww.
Isn't that paper sort of thick? I believe you can do great things with it. Ooo sounds cool! I think I just talked to myself into finding one. I'm going to Dallas, TX on Nov. 20th (skipping school and missing New Moon with my friends ): ) to visit an university. The last time I was there, I went to a huge antique store that had everything from vintage clothes, records, Snow White sheet music, chunky rhinestone jewelry, to 1950's class rings and country club pins. I wonder if they have something like that. P:

Oh and what kind of camera do you use? o:
